Wise Men and Angels is an exciting selection of art works by some of Scotlands leading artists, sculptors, jewellers, ceramicists, glassmakers and printmakers from around Scotland. The exhibition will run from the 27th November-9th January. Story Motel-"EPIC ZINE EXHIBITION!" Over Fifty fantastic Artists from around the globe have contributed an original zine to be exhibited and sold at Story Motel. You wont find these zines anywhere else as they were specifically made for this exhibition! Beautiful zines from Mhari Baxter/Robert Powell, Josh Cochran/Byrn Smith, Michael Perry, Lizzy Stewart, Cornelia O Donovan, Patrick Kyle, Jaakko Pallasvuo, Holly Wales/Timm Haeneke , Jez Burrows and Nora Krug to name but a few! For the past 10 weeks I have been involved in an animation group run by Theatre Nemo http://www.theatrenemo.org/. An exhibition that showcases innovative art made by the young people at Broomton community shop art group, in Balarnock, (where I am an art worker) as part of the outreach initiative from The Disability Forum in Possil. The art programme integrates young people with disabilities and other children without disabilities living in the North West of Glasgow. The exhibition runs from the 22nd Jan-3rd Feb.
